PearLauncher is a native launcher for Linux and macOS. It connects to GOG to retrieve your library, download installers and organise games. It also lets you add your own executables, applications and game folders.
Choosing how to run each game
The launcher supports several execution modes: native, Wine, Proton on Linux, Game Porting Toolkit on macOS, DOSBox and ScummVM. The environment can be selected automatically, then adjusted for each game.
Launch options, arguments and environment variables remain configurable. Downloads can resume after an interruption, and installations can be moved between storage locations.
A native desktop application
PearLauncher is developed in C++23 with GLFW and Dear ImGui. Rendering uses OpenGL on Linux and Metal on macOS; libcurl and SQLite handle network communication and local storage.
The goal is to bring the steps between browsing a game library and playing on the right system into a single interface.
